Welcome to Aging Gracefully!

“The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is

 reflected in

her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she knows."

 Audrey Hepburn

Part of my journey in life, especially as a woman, is learning to apply different ways to age gracefully. Some days, I do well, and some days.......let's face it, I need alot of help! As a very close friend of mine just said, there is truth to the saying that the proof is in the pudding.

I enjoy reading information especially about natural aging whether using new products, making home made products, reading a new book, learning new things, skin care, exercise and so much more as we age.  My love for writing and being part of a global community over fifty prefaced this blog.

As part of the baby-boomer generation, I appreciate so much the value of community and a positive attitude is where it starts. Aging gracefully conceptualizes many caveats, not just skin care to the face and body. Having that been said, I would like to have a spot in the blogging community to periodically share information and experiences that may help someone else too.

I hope you join me in conversation if you can contribute any thoughts and ideas in this area. At first, I thought about focusing on aging over 50. However, I don't think there should be any limitations to an age group because all of us are on this journey.

Aging includes doing the best we can in keeping our bodies healthy, as well as mind and soul. So from time to time, I will post some encouraging messages to nourish spirits as well. I hope you enjoy taking this walk with me in a positive direction!

I am also the blog author of Feathers in the Nest, where I journal about homestead living in the North Georgia mountains, needlework, knitting and of course, our baby, Miss Abbie.

I hope you are having a great weekend!
